Amadea Technologies congratulates the National Criminal Investigation Department's NPKK team on their customized Video Conference solution.

On Feb. 16, Dave Jansen, project manager of the national team NPKK, was able to receive their customized Video Conference solution from Michel Drion, Managing Director of Amadea Technologies.

In the context of efficiency, increasing effectiveness and reducing costs, it was decided to provide each unit of the NPKK within the new National Police structure with a customized communications kit.

During the handover of the 14 cases at a location in the middle of the Netherlands, a majority of the users were present to receive explanations and instruction.

Michel Drion commented there that this solution which has been put together in close consultation will make an important contribution to the speed at which teams should be able to consult with each other (where and at what time or location).

The set has the possibility to function independently of existing fixed networks and Wifi points in HD quality with multiple users simultaneously through the 3G network and that via a secure connection to ensure the integrity of each conversation and shared images and documentation. Furthermore, our concept is certainly interesting for law enforcement and the National Police as the cost of use is very attractive and we can easily connect to existing infrastructures of Polycom, Tandberg, etc. without affecting the integrity of the network.
